Featured works include an award-winning pair of stroke rehabilitation gloves, a collection of dance performance garments, and a NASA-sponsored body tracking base layer. Design researchers from Georgia Tech will be available to discuss the methods, opportunities, and challenges of soft goods and wearable technology.
The lab has a focus on soft-goods wearable tech, embedded in clothing and accessories. The projects each monitor the moving body in different ways, and provide visual, audible, and haptic feedback in response.
