SEFAA’s mission is to cultivate a vibrant fiber arts community by:
Connecting the fiber arts community;
Promoting the fiber arts;
Providing diverse and comprehensive fiber art programming;
Inspiring and supporting fiber artists, organizations, businesses, and educators; and
Encouraging public understanding and appreciation of the fiber arts.
We will be demonstrating various forms of fiber art.
Such as stitching electronic circuits using conductive yarn, light reactive fabric dye, spinning, weaving on various types of looms, sewing and more.
Participants will be able to help us weave an installation on our tent and we will have several different “make & take” projects for kids and kids at heart. Such as weaving, light reactive dye (weather permitting), embroidery, fabric stamping, etc.
