Klapthor’s Universal Robots features science fiction themed ceramic sculptures built from traditional wheel-thrown pottery. Ray-guns, robots, spaceships and more are formed from clay vessels that are reassembled into the stylized look of the 1950′s era of sci-fi. During the faire we will be assembling a large scale robot on site to demonstrate how shaped like cups, vases and bowls can be reformed to create these mighty automatons.
