HiglyPigly Creations (and Mad Scientist Engineering) Extreme reconditioning of old discarded toys. Sometimes the mad scientist in me just wants to play, and I let her. I take her to thrift stores and garage sales to look for dolls, toys or other objects to inspire the next creation. Using clay, paint, fabric, wax and a few power tools, awful, saccharin-sweet discarded play-things become something different, although slightly familiar. Last year, the mad scientist won ‘Maker of Merit’ which emblazoned her to push a little further. Pieces are described as fun and quirky with a touch of the diabolical. It’s what you may imagine a collaboration between Mary Poppins and Victor Frankenstein might produce. Please come by to see what has been cooked up in the last year!
