Toasting Cups are the cup you can’t put down once it’s filled. Toasting cups are slip-cast ceramics made in a two part plaster mold. Liquid clay or “slip” is poured into the mold. The plaster absorbs the water from the slip and leaves behind a “cast”. The cast is decorated with more slip like icing a cake and then hand painted with colored slips.
